Historic Scotland
Historic Scotland cares for over 300 heritage sites throughout Scotland - all of which are open to the public.

National Museums of Scotland
Information on the associated museums including the Royal Museum of Scotland, the Museum of Antiquities, the Scottish United Services Museum, the Scottish Agricultural Museum, the Museum of Flight, Shambellie House Museum of Costume, Biggar Gasworks and other information regarding the various exhibitions showing.

Scottish Arts Council
The Scottish Arts Council is one of the main channels for Government funding for the arts in Scotland, receiving its funding from the Scottish Executive. They also distribute National Lottery funds received from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland
Government body which records the archaeology and buildings of Scotland and makes this and other historical information available to the public through the NMRS (National Monuments Record of Scotland).
